Diskusi Lanjutan Delegasi Institut BIM Indonesia dengan Bina Konstruksi PUPR

Pada hari Selasa. 28 Februari 2017, delegasi Institut BIM Indonesia yang diwakili oleh Kharis Alfi (IAI Jakarta), Amy Rachmadhani (PDW), Aswin Indraprastha (ITB) dan Fauzan Alfi (ITB) memenuhi undangan dari Bpk. Cakra selaku Kepala Balai Penerapan Teknologi Konstruksi – Dirjen Bina Konstruksi Kemen PUPR. Ini merupakan lanjutan dari pertemuan sebelumnya yang dilaksanakan di lokasi yang sama.

Selama pertemuan, delegasi Institut BIM Indonesia dan pihak Bina Konstruksi PUPR membicarakan bagaimana untuk mendorong adopsi penggunaan teknologi Building Information Modelling (BIM) di industri konstruksi Indonesia termasuk di dalamnya berupa sosialisasi, pendidikan dan penyusunan pedoman/guidelines serta standard yang dibutuhkan oleh industri.

Pedoman mengenai BIM sangat dibutuhkan industri konstruksi saat ini sebagai panduan migrasi dari metode konvensional ke BIM. Tak hanya itu, diperlukan juga standard dalam bentuk SNI mengenai keluaran atau produk gambar yang dihasilkan dengan BIM yang terstandardisasi secara nasional dan standard kompetensi dalam bentuk SKKNI untuk membentuk sumber daya manusia yang ahli serta tersertifikasi di bidang BIM. Sehingga, penyusunan pedoman dan standard menjadi agenda prioritas utama Institut BIM Indonesia dengan dukungan dari pihak PUPR.

Institut BIM Indonesia berencana untuk mengadakan beberapa pertemuan lanjutan yang mengundang berbagai stakeholders untuk bersama menyusun draf pedoman dan standard yang dibutuhkan.
